Stand With Belarus

Investigative Committee initiated 4 criminal cases against blogger Anton Motolko. Anton is an author of “Motolko” Telegram channel where he shares information about what is going on in Belarus and does investigations

Anton left Belarus on 9 July because he was afraid to be detained and kept in prison just like Ihar Losik (another blogger, who is in jail from 25 June)

9 people were sentenced to 3 to 4 years in jail for participating in protests on 10 August in Brest. Minors Siarhei Gatskevich and Denis Khozei were sentenced to 3 years in juvenile detention centre

Another Brest resident, Ivan Rakitya was sentenced to 2.5 years of imprisonment for allegedly hitting policeman. The moment of the incident isn’t on the video, there were contradictions in the testimony of the victim, and the main witness was not an eyewitness of the hit

NashaNiva photojournalist Nadezhda Buzhan became a finalist of the World Press Photo award for the photo of Volha Sieviaryniec at the entrance of Akrestsina prison. At that moment Volha is waiting to get inside and meet her husband. Since July 7 2020 Paval is political prisoner

Repression against Belarusian medics:

> 35 doctors fired
> 200 arrested during peaceful protests
> Medics spent 950 days in jail (combined)

Partisans of Kojdanau, Barauliany, Minsk and Mihalova district remind that only 15 days left before Freedom Day! On that day Belarus was founded in 1918 and during Lukashenka’s reign it became the day where people demand freedom from dictatorship
