Peaceful demonstration in solidarity with Belarusian wonder women took place in New York



Women’s demonstration on the train – they dressed in white and red clothes and reading books in Belarusian language. Earlier for similar demonstration few pensioners were arrested and later fined [$330 – $660]


“Today we are in black to remind of the real attitude of the people who seized power towards Belarusian women. But it won’t be always like this!”



March 8 in Belarus: 141 political criminal cases have been initiated against women, 49 women in prison


Anharskaya district, Mikhalovo district, Mahiliou and Brest wish a Happy International Womens Day to all women out there! Keep in mind that going out like that, just to wish a happy holiday can end up with a jail time in Belarus


Students shaved their heads in solidarity with the repressed. “We have a dream: to live in a free country. In a country where the law works, where the courts are fair and the elections are fair. In a country where truth and dissent are not imprisoned.”



International Olympic Committee imposed measures against NOC of Belarus:

– IOC doesn’t recognize Viktar Lukashenka as new President of the NOC and Dzmitry Baskau as a member

– IOC demands to suspend all financial payments to the NOC of Belarus
