Aliaksandr Trotski was sentenced to 10 years in jail. On 12 August, Aliksandr was driving his car, at one point he saw armed men destroy passing vehicles. About 10 armed men approached his vehicle and ordered him to get out. As they failed to introduce themselves, he refused. Armed men threatened him with guns, Trotski got scared and pulled off. When doing so, he slightly hit a policeman.

He was later caught and brutally beaten by police. He stated that police put gun in his mouth if he would pass out during the beating, police would use ammonia to bring him back and continue with beating. At the hospital, he was diagnosed with a head injury, he spent 3 weeks there after which he was transferred to jail.

Russia and Belarus have agreed to establish three combat training centers for joint training of servicemen, the Belarusian Defense Ministry reports. The centers will be located in the Nizhny Novgorod region and Kaliningrad regions in Russia and the Hrodna region in Belarus.
